The Mount Private Hospital is a leader in the provision of private hospital services in Western Australia. It is located at the base of Kings Park on Mounts Bay Road, Perth and provides access to the State’s leading surgeons and hospital equipment.

The ICU has 12 ventilated beds and is the only private Level 3 ICU in WA.

It can look after all types of critically ill patient and admits approximately 1000 people per year.

The case-mix is predominantly cardiac surgery as it is the only private cardiothoracic hospital in WA, performing in excess of 400 cases annually.

The ICU runs the Medical Emergency Response Team for the hospital as well as the Cardiac Arrest Response team.

The unit has recently enjoyed a major upgrade in ventilators and monitoring equipment being now in possession of the latest and best equipment available in conjunction with a highly skilled, motivated and professional team of doctors, nurses and ancillary staff.
